Ask anything about your shop.
Ask is the assistant inside Quotlith that knows your own account. Find any job, customer or estimate, or get the steps for any task, in plain words. It only shows each person what their role allows, and it never changes anything.
Built by Christian & Christian Signs in Kamloops, BC, a sign shop that’s run successfully for 25+ years. Import your EstiMate backup. Ask finds your records today; written AI answers are coming soon.
Ask knows your shop.
An assistant inside Quotlith that works from your own account. Find a job the way you remember it, get the steps for any task, and see what is due. Everyone sees only what their role allows.
That’s J-3305: illuminated channel letters for Brightwell Dental at 412 Victoria St. It’s in fabrication and due Oct 28.
Sample data and canned answers. Today Ask finds your jobs, customers and estimates with Quotlith’s own search and answers how-to questions from our help guides. Written answers from an AI helper and the map view are coming soon.
Search by customer, street, job number or sign type, including your imported EstiMate history.
Short steps for any task, with a button that opens the right screen. Written from your role and the tools you have turned on.
Jobs due this week, installs on the calendar and overdue invoices, each with a card you can open.
Ask only shows each person what their role allows. Prices and invoices stay with the people who can already see them.
Ask reads and explains. Its buttons only open a screen, and you make the change yourself.
Written how-to answers. Off until the shop owner turns it on, and it never sees your customers, jobs or prices.
Questions about Ask
What can Ask see?
Your own shop’s jobs, customers, estimates and invoices, plus our help guides. It cannot see any other shop’s data.
Who can see what?
Ask only shows each person what their role allows. Someone on the shop floor will not see prices or invoices, and if a task is not theirs to do, Ask says which role can.
Will it change anything without me?
No. Ask never changes anything. Its buttons open the right screen and you make the change yourself.
Is there an AI model behind it?
Not yet. Today Ask finds your jobs, customers and estimates with Quotlith’s own search, and answers how-to questions from our help guides. An AI helper for written how-to answers is coming soon. When it arrives, it only sees your question, your role, which tools are turned on and our help guides. It never sees your customers, jobs or prices.
Who turns the AI helper on?
The shop owner. It stays off until they switch it on, and they can switch it off again at any time. Ask’s search keeps working either way.
Is there anything I should not type?
Keep customer details, like phone numbers and emails, out of how-to questions. To find a customer or job, ask for it by name or number; that lookup is done by Quotlith’s own search, not the AI helper.
Why we built it.
25+ years of knowing where the answers hide.
Quotlith is built by Christian & Christian Signs in Kamloops, BC, a sign shop that has run successfully for 25+ years. Anyone who has run a shop knows the questions that eat the day: where was that job, what did we charge, how do I set this up? Ask puts those answers one question away, for everyone on your team.
Quotlith is independent and not affiliated with any other vendor named on this page.
A pricing screen for every sign you make.
Each one knows how that sign is built, so the price comes from your materials, machines and crew time.
Channel letters are priced per letter and inch of height, with returns, trim cap, LEDs, power supplies and raceway.
Every price shows its working.
Type a size and the banner is drawn to scale, then costed line by line from your material, printer time and labour rates.
Estimate
Pricing screens for banners, vinyl, wraps, channel letters and install, with tax groups and customer discounts.
Job
An accepted quote becomes a job with work orders and material lists.
Production
A board shows every job from artwork to install.
Invoice
Invoices go to QuickBooks Online with every line item. Payments you record here go across too. Reading from QuickBooks is coming soon.
Everything between the phone call and the invoice.
Find a job, customer or estimate in plain words, get the steps for any task, and see what is due. Ask only shows each person what their role allows and never changes anything. Written answers from an AI helper are coming soon, and stay off until the shop owner turns them on.
Banners, vinyl, wraps, channel letters, panels, window graphics and install. Add your own products without a developer.
Set up GST, PST or your own tax groups, then give a customer a standing discount or tax exemption. Each tax shows on its own line.
A live margin gauge on every quote, and your open quotes listed with the ones priced below target flagged. A map of them is coming soon.
One click turns an accepted quote into a job with work orders, material lists and purchase orders. A production board shows where everything is.
Line up each day’s scheduled installs with an estimated time for each job, then see the best order to drive them so the crew spends more time installing and less time on the road. Addresses only go to a map service if the shop owner turns that on.
Customers and invoices go over with every line item, mapped to your items, accounts and Canadian tax codes. Payments you record here go across too. Reading from QuickBooks is coming soon.
Import supplier price sheets and read invoices so material costs stay current. Stale prices are flagged on the quote.
Start a draft estimate from a site photo, an email or call notes. Optional AI handwriting reading is off until the owner turns it on. True-size design starting files are planned.
Bring data in from EstiMate, QuickBooks, spreadsheets and other shop software. Export everything, free, at any time. No contract.
Start the job from what you already have.
Photograph the site on a phone, or paste in an email or your call notes. Quotlith pulls out the sizes, phone numbers and dates it finds and starts a draft estimate. You confirm every number before it goes out.
Reading handwriting from a photo is an optional AI feature. It is off until the shop owner turns it on, and it sends the photo to an AI provider that may process it outside Canada. Concept images and true-size design files are planned, not built yet.
Take photos on a phone and add notes. Include a tape or card for scale.
Pull up jobs you have done before. AI concept images on their own storefront are planned.
Sign type, size and a priced draft. You edit every number before sending.
True-size SVG, PDF or EPS with wording and colours. Not built yet.
Crew app for iPhone and AndroidIn testing
The job isn’t done until the checklist says so.
Installers open the app on their next install, with the customer’s number and directions one tap away. Back at the shop, the office sees checklist ticks and photos come in and gets a notice when the install is signed off. That means fewer calls asking whether the crew is there yet.
Coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. The apps are in testing and not in either store yet. Join early access to hear when your crew can install them.
Get early accessSample data. These screens are drawn from the app’s design for this page; screenshots from the app will replace them before launch.
Installers see their next install first: the time, the address, and buttons to call the customer or get directions. Owners and office staff see which jobs are late, oldest first, with the days late written out.
Search your jobs and open one for the customer, dates, notes and files. See installs and due jobs by day, and read the shop’s alerts, like a job assigned to you, in a list in the app. Push notifications are not switched on yet.
Each install has a checklist built from the job, with the required items marked. The app counts what is left, like “3 of 8, 2 required left”, and will not mark the install complete until the required items are done, unless an owner or the office signs it off with a reason.
Take the before and after photos at sign-off, check each one, and retake it if it’s blurry. Photos saved to a job show up on that job back at the office.
Mark the install complete with your name and the photos, then you have 10 seconds to undo it, or two minutes with a screen reader on. Once it is sent, owners and office staff get a notice saying who signed off.
No signal? Checklist ticks, photos and the sign-off are saved on the phone and sent when there is signal again.
Lock the app with Face ID, or fingerprint or face unlock on Android. Text grows with the phone’s text size setting, and the screens are labelled for VoiceOver.
One app for every shop. Your crew signs in with the account the owner set up on the web and sees only what their role allows; installers never see prices. There is no sign-up in the app.
Quoting stays on the web today; on the phone your crew does installs. The apps have not been through App Store or Google Play review yet, so details may change before launch.
Estimating that runs in your browser.
Everything your shop relies on today, without the server, the backup routine or being tied to one desk.
Nothing to host or update
Quotlith runs in your browser. There is no database server for anyone to keep running.
Backups happen on their own
Every change is saved as you work, and an old estimate is a click away.
Quote from anywhere
The office works in the browser, the job site on a phone browser, with the same data in both.
Add people by email
Invite an estimator or bookkeeper, and choose what each person can see.

Grows with your shop.
From a one-person shop to multi-crew production, in the same account.
Invite people by email and give each one a role: owner, office, shop floor, installer or bookkeeper. The shop floor and installers see their jobs and installs, not your prices.
Start with estimates and invoices. Switch on production, the schedule and purchasing in Settings when the shop is ready for them.
Our test shop holds 100,000 jobs, 150,000 estimates, 5,000 customers and 50 people. Today, the jobs list (with search and status filters), the jobs board, the production board, invoices and customers each opened in under a quarter of a second. The week schedule opened in under half a second.
About our test shop: one shop with made-up data on one Apple M2 Pro computer running our production software, 50 people, measured November 3, 2026. Times are how long our server took to build each page, the middle of three runs with one person using it. They leave out your internet connection and browser, and real shops will differ. Opening one estimate with thousands of lines and the month schedule took about 2 seconds; both are on our list. This is a test result, not a promise of speed or capacity.

Questions shops ask.
Does it replace QuickBooks?
No. Quotlith handles estimating, jobs and production. It sends customers, invoices and payments to QuickBooks Online, so your bookkeeping stays where it is. Reading from QuickBooks is coming soon.
What does it run on?
Quotlith runs in the browser, so it works on anything that runs a modern browser: Windows, Mac, Chromebook, iPad, iPhone and Android. Nothing to install.
Do I have to use the AI features?
No. They are optional and can be switched off for your shop. Anything the AI drafts is marked for review, and you confirm every number. Ask’s AI helper is coming soon and stays off until the shop owner turns it on.
Can I try it alongside EstiMate?
Yes. Import your history, run both side by side, and compare totals before you switch.
I use different software, not EstiMate. Can I still switch?
Often, yes. We import QuickBooks, Excel and CSV files as well as EstiMate backups. Ask us about your software and we will tell you what is possible.
Are you connected to EstiMate?
No. Quotlith is an independent product. We name EstiMate only to say we can import its data.
What if I leave?
Export all your customers, estimates, jobs and quote PDFs at any time, free. It keeps working for 90 days after you cancel, and there is no contract.
